![]() INTRODUCING "THE VOIP OFFICE" TO ALLROUND BUSINESS SOLUTIONS!
Being a small business ourselves and actively using a total VoIP solution in our office, we know first hand the fantastic benefits this system provides. Whether it be in your home, home office or small /medium business the cost savings and functionality VOIP can offer you are second to none! Why VOIP?
The main advantage of VoIP is much cheaper call costs. You can make a call to any landline in Australia for as low as 9c per call, or a call to any Australian mobile for just 17.9c per minute. VoIP calls these days are the same as traditional voice line quality. There is no longer the delays, one way voice and drop outs; that in days gone by use to be the stigma of VoIP. A stand out advantage particularly for a Virtual Assistant is the option to have multiple lines when offering virtual reception services. To do this via PSTN lines would be very expensive and out of reach. How does a VOIP call work? The VoIP "call" is transferred as a series of data packet packets, rather than as an analogue voice signal. The basic steps involved in the origination and termination of a VoIP call are: a) Conversion of the analog voice signal to digital format b) Then compression/translation of the signal into internet protocol (IP) packets for transmission over the Internet; c) This process is reversed at the receiving/call termination end. The data packets are translated back into a voice signal. We will supply your equipment, pre-configure and manage the setup process for you with several options available depending on your circumstances. From your home phone conversion, right up to a medium size business with PABX we can help you switch.
